no doubt about it. romeo and vrabel always raved about him, along with nfl network's mayock. he single handedly kept us in the steelers game, second on the team in hits and "stuffs".

Brooks and crick are next. But hey let's look the other way because rick smith is the Gm.

Really like it. He's our only productive and healthy starting OLB. He's been steadily improving, and I think he'll continue to do so under RAC and Vrabel. Didn't let him hit FA to drive up the price either. Not bad.

I like this deal. Ascending player that is still a bit unproven so fair value.

Nice to not have to pick up that $8.5MM option.

Definitely. I'm very high on both Brooks and Crick. Brooks could be an all pro eventually, and Crick is an average/above average starter in the league that's continued to improve.

lol, At least it isn't an extension worth $8mil/yr. You can walk away from this contract much more easily. Just hope Cush can return to like 80% of what he was and I'd be good.

Can someone explain this to me?

Does that mean he gets $10.8M guaranteed and $5.25m signing bonus or is the $5.25 including in the $10.8?

I'm surprised so many are in favor of this move. I thought fans did not like him.

I personally am a fan of his. He has been inconsistent but I think he has the talent, speed and athleticism to be the black clay Matthews.

It is included. I am not a fan of big signing bonuses because of dead money possibilities so this is fine. All of the other guaranteed money should be fulfilled by Year 2.

Seems a liiiiiiiiiittle pricy for him, IMO, but not a bad deal at all. Can't argue with some cost certainty and security going forward.
