Robinson better than Hakeem. smh. Duncan isn't either. They don't actually like basketball that much, and they would trade the Spurs for an NFL Team in a heartbeat. In 2007, the San Antonio Express made a poll, "Who is the most important person to the franchise." Out of 17,000 votes, those idiots voted Duncan 4th and Parker 5th. That's a borderline racist vote by an ugly cow town. Suck it San Antonio and all you closet fans on cfnet who like them more than your home team and won't admit it. Go root for the Cowboys, too.
Can Duncan, Parker, and Manu just retire already? Pop too. Dirk as well. That makes our only division competitors aging Memphis and two years away Pels.
Oh, and Popovich's belittling of the media was cute at first, but got old quick. Just talk basketball. Quit telling us how stupid the media is (and through them, indirectly disrespecting us bball fans, too). He must have learned that from coaching in a non-basketball town with a bunch of idiot fans. Just sell the franchise to Seattle and trade it in for an NFL team already.
I live in San Antonio. You are so far off base. By far the best NBA fans in the league, and they would not trade the Spurs for an NFL franchise. Unless I missed the hidden sarcasm in the post, you couldn't be more wrong. I only wish Houston fans were like theirs.
I HATE the Spurs fans. Such bandwagoners. Most of them can't name a player on the team besides Duncan and Parker. I hate Pop, just because he's such a d!@k in interviews. Get over yourself, dude. Don't really hate the players on the team that much, except for Manu and his flopping. But yeah, I'm glad they lost, not just because I think it's better for the Rockets.
Sorry, maybe it's just cause I'm not from Texas, but I don't hate the Spurs at all. I'm actually kind of sad to see them go, their last couple of seasons have been inspiring and the fact that this was probably it for them is a bit sad. The fact that they got beat by the Clippers, possibly the least likeable team in the playoffs, just makes it even worse. So let's kick some Clipper ass. And just in case anyone here doesn't approve of my liking the Spurs, flame suit on!
I hate their arena, they were so cheap and made a stadium in the hood with nothing for fans to do after the game. it's setup like a football stadium
Correct me if I'm wrong, their fans gave a very poor performance in Game 6: clips took the home crowd ou of the game. Not much HCA there Best in the league. Exaggerate much. They are spoiled with one of he best players ever. And delusional voting ginobdiy over him in that 3007 poll

Seriously. I don't hate the Spurs, but it sickens me when I see people here rooting for them. There is only one team you should EVER root for in Texas. Houston. I don't care if Spurs and Mavs are playing Satan's devils or a team full of ISIS ballers. NEVER ROOT FOR SPURS OR MAVS. EVERRRRRR!!!!
Why the hell is the stadium in the middle of the hood? At least the Alamodome was downtown and you could go to the Riverwalk or go to some restaurants I'm forced to eat HEB hotdogs which I know I could buy for a $1 if I went to the store Plus I hate their football style parking
I wanted the Spurs to win, easy making the trip to the San Antonio then it is to Los Angeles if you live in Texas Lots of Rockets fans in the Mavs series cause it's an easy drive
I have all the respect in the world for Pop, TD, TP, Manu, D-Rob, etc. But I despise the city of San Antonio and think Spurs fans are awful. People that live in that sorry place have my sympathy.
