People need to stop comparing Athele's jobs to our regular jobs. Its not the same thing. You aren't working in front of a crowd of thousands and on TV in front of millions of people. You aren't getting paid millions to have fun. And I'm not talking to you specificly, just in general. Because if something like this happend at our job, it would be handled completely different. The elevator video won't leak to TMZ and go viral all over the web. There is a good chance it goes unnotiiced by your employers. You know theres probably guys that beat their wives and hold down a good job. Just so many factors in which we can't compare our jobs to what Athletes do.
Good job digging out all this info. Even the people that are supposed to protect us have unclean hands in this case.

Can anyone on this planet really explain in a coherent fashion why Ray Lewis was ever invited to appear on a television broadcast? Is it some sort of experiment on NFL fans? "They really will watch anything related to football. Watch... I can prove it!"
<blockquote class="twitter-tweet" lang="en"><p>BREAKING: Law enforcement official says he sent video to attention of NFL security chief Jeffrey Miller.</p>— The Associated Press (@AP) <a href="https://twitter.com/AP/status/515294881112399872">September 26, 2014</a></blockquote> <script async src="//platform.twitter.com/widgets.js" charset="utf-8"></script> http://www.pro32.ap.org/article/ap-source-video-addressed-nfl-security-chief
And the worm continues to turn. Voice mail, now the recipient by name... that's the problem with the truth, when the entire media has you on the radar, they'll dig it out sooner or later...
In my opinion none of this matters. The video is useless. Everyone had already agreed on what happened before any video was released. The Video would not have changed Goodell's decision had the media not created a snowstorm around the fact that it was difference maker, which in no way was it, and in no way should have been. All it did was add shock factor. Little more. The media was what made Goodell shift his position. Because the media was afraid of looking like idiots if they did not ask for someone's head. So they felt caught. They had to pitbull for someone. I find it unfortunate. He caved too. This is one instance where I felt like yes the media did a good job seeking out the truth, we learned a lot, but they were using their power for all the wrong reasons and railroading the wrong person. It was not, nor ever needed to be the video. So this whole notion of going after the nfl for not trying to aquire the video, or not viewing it, or using it to decide on a course of action is ridiculous to me. It's a witchhunt.

The media is going after the NFL for the cover up and lying, not because Goodell did or didn't see the tape.
Covering up what...? And lying about what...? Goodell handled Ray Rice no differently than he handled the other players that had domestic violence chargers that no one made a fuss about. Difference is _ they didn't have tape. The tape didn't make a difference in the legal system but it does in the eyes of public opinion. So it is all about the tape.
The media and the public are on a which hunt for Goodell to pay for a problem that our society has when it comes to domestic violence. He's being crucified for the sins of society. I'm sure members of the players association and maybe a few owners will use the Ray Rice tape against Goodell to try to get him kicked out. He shouldn't lose his job over this Ray Rice situation but the way he handled New England to the way he handled the Saints, and a lot of unfair fines he's made players pay, and him having too much power... Getting Goodell kicked out behind this Ray Rice tape is like getting a drug dealer locked up for tax evasion... He's not in jail for distribution of illegal drugs but at least he's in jail. This is the situation Goodell is facing/In.. Good posts BTW...
