2007 first round - Warriors vs. Mavericks

Hands down the most epic series of the last 10 years. Warriors became The first 8th seed to win a best-of-seven in the first round defeating the 67-15 Mavericks led by then league MVP Dirk Nowitzki.

The Warriors were straight up ballers with Baron Davis, Stephen Jackson, and Jason Richardson destroying the Mavericks night after night in front a raucous deafening crowd at Oracle Arena. The atmosphere was so electric I've never seen anything like it before.

For Rockets fans, It was great a enjoyment watching the Mavericks juggernaut season go up in flames and then watching Dirk's sunken depressed face as he accepted the MVP trophy a week later after being eliminated from the playoffs.

    Pure gold.

    2007 Warriors versus Mavericks

Baron Davis completely taking Dirk's soul and forcing him to accept his MVP trophy after ending his season was amazing.

    Lakers/Kings with Divac
    Lakers/Trailblazers with Sabonis

Both the Kings and Trailblazers would have won if those series if they were officiated correctly.

Also, the Mavs/Heat finals where Dirk blew up... best clutch performance since Hakeem.

2006 Heat beating the Mavs... Dwayne Wade playing hero. Jason Williams was always a favorite of mine so it was cool to see him win it all.

Was it 2010 when Chris Paul was putting up like 30-15 on the Lakers and they had no idea how to guard him? I just remember it being crazy seeing them try and have Gasol guard him.

    hmm love this thread (repped)

95 stands out a lot to me

    Jazz (3-2)
    Suns (4-3)
    Spurs (4-2)

    fav playoff moment.

Beating the Sonics in 97. (4-3) was a good feeling.

Kings, yes. But Blazers would have won if they didn't choke away a 15 point lead in the 4th Quarter of Game 7 in LA.

All of the Rockets playoff series from 1993-1999

GS beating Mavs (as so eloquently described in other posts). I have never heard a crowd close to as loud.

For some reason, the Yao Rockets series where we lost to Utah after being up 2-0. This series convinced me a Yao-led team would never win the Championship. Yao was just too flawed defensively.

For some random reason, I remember this SA-Phoenix series in like 2002 where Stephon Marbury OWNED a young Tony Parker and Tim Duncan owned the entire Phoenix team. I remember telling many a friend that the Rockets would soon have the equivalents of the best players from both teams in Steve Francis and Yao Ming once they developed.

Detroit beating the Lakers in 2004 completely changed the roadmap to a championship I had firmly believed in for years and years.

Mavs beating Lebron's Heat. Loved that! People forget how clutch TERRY was in that series!!!

Rochester Royals beating the NY Knicks in 1951. Who could forget that Rochester team!!!

2007 Mavs vs Warriors. That warriors team just destroyed the Mavs like the spurs did with the Heat in 2014.
