I think Pop could call Monty and give him a tip or two to defeat the Warriors...

 

Pelicans have some talented depth and most importantly an elite player in AD.

Wouldn't surprise me a bit if this series went 6-7 games.

 

Warriors in 5. I'd love to see the Pelicans make this a series, but they're not quite ready yet.

 

Warriors in 6...think a healthy Pelicans team won't be as easy as they thought. Tough to shoot like they have with tired arms from playoff physicality

I've been saying this most of tonight but I think the Pelicans can make this series interesting.

I think the Pelicans have just enough and the right type of x factors on their team to make this a good series.

Davis will win them a game single-handedly a game by having 38p/16r/7a/7b, and will keep them in most games that I think a combination of huge games from Anderson, Evans, Holliday or Gordon can win them a game too.

Warriors in 6.

 

Pels might actually win a game. This series will be great for AD's development.

 

Not for the rest of the League though.

I can't wait to see him in the spotlight.

Warriors in 6. I think Pelicans are well capable of taking a couple games at home. Players are getting healthy at the right time. Holiday seems to be getting better each game.

 

'94 Sonics-Nuggets vibe to this series. Whole world thought Seattle would roll that year as they won 62 games, had close to a 10 point differential, had Payton/Kemp and a number of solid role players, #2 seed (Houston) was a good matchup for them, and Atlanta was the top seed in the East. Plus, no 8 had beaten a 1 to that point. Nuggets were overlooked, came on at the end of the season, had an another worldly shot blocker (Mutombo) and enough spare parts to match up well with some teams.

Difference is that series was only 5 games which was much more conducive for upsets. I don't think the Pels can beat them 4 times in 7 games, but I don't think they'll be pushovers, especially if Golden State doesn't come prepared for the playoffs.

 

I think the Pelicans are just happy to be in the playoffs.

GS in 4. Although Pels might sneak a game.

 

Lol, so should we vote with who we want to win or vote who will win?? I guess I mean, I know GS is going to win this round, but I'd love to see some miracle win for NO. I liked GS when they were underdogs, now that they're the medias temporary replacement until the Lakers are back I just can't stand it.

I'm just not too interested in national biased bull****... Example "Omfg Curry hit a lot of 3's, in practice !!!" I hope if curry wins the MVP they get wrecked in the playoffs, I'm also not saying curry is bad or something I just get tired of GS reports over n over.

 

The Warriors should win rather easily, but they got a tough 1st round draw.

Brain tells me Warriors in 4 or 5, but my guess is Warriors in 6.
