Currently we are tied with Jacksonville and Atlanta for the number one pick. Minnesota and Tampa Bay have an outside chance.

I believe Atlanta has had the easier schedule so they win the tie breaker for the number one pick.

    Remaining Schedule for contending teams:

    Houston:

    vs New England
    @ Jacksonville
    @ Indianapolis
    vs Denver
    @ Tennessee

    Jacksonville:

    @ Cleveland
    vs Houston
    vs Buffalo
    vs Tennessee
    @ Indianapolis

    Atlanta:

    @ Buffalo
    @ Green Bay
    vs Washington
    @ San Francisco
    vs Panthers

    Minnesota:

    vs Chicago
    @ Baltimore
    vs Philadelphia
    @ Cincinnati
    vs Detroit

    Tamba Bay

    @ Carolina
    vs Buffalo
    vs San Francisco
    @ St. Louis
    @ New Orleans

Atlanta and Tampa Bay have the toughest remaining schedule.

Hmm, how do they decide on tie breaker when two or more teams are tied with the same record?

So that's 3 extremely loseable games. It's tough to lose to the Jaguars twice, but I have faith in this squad.

This team never does anything right, so I'm sure we'll beat Tenessee to finish the year.

3-13, that should be bad enough.

I need to make a correction. If the season ended today, we would have the number one pick

    Atlanta SOS: .592

    Jacksonville: .580

    Houston: .542

    Other contenders for #1:

    Minnesota: .525

    Tampa Bay: .558

    Washington: .514

Looks to me like it would be great if Buffalo loses a lot of games for the rest of the season.

Exactly. Unless they are drafting Clowney, which seems unlikely, it doesn't even matter what pick we have.

I think we go with Teddy here; Louisville and the Texans run almost the same scheme with lots of play action, zone runs, and west coast concepts

If you prefer Bridgewater or Mariota to Manziel, you hope the Texans lose every remaining game. Like it or not, the odds are overwhelming that McNair will expect a QB be taken in the first round.

I prefer Bridgewater over all. And I want the Texans to take a QB.

To be safe, I think we're fine if ATL picks first....because they're not going to take a QB in the first round.

If it ends up with HOU with the first pick...or ATL with the first pick and HOU with the second pick..I still think we get the guy that the organization pins as being the best QB in the draft.

Obviously that won't be the case if JAX drafts ahead of us.

Anyone think that TB thinks they found their QB in Glennon? If he continues to play like he has for the rest of the season, I doubt seriously TB takes a QB in the first round.
