    Welllll:

    Yao Ming (Rockets) 430,984
    Andrew Bynum (Lakers) 198,044
    Brendan Haywood (Mavericks) 127,375

Bynum has missed more games than Yao and Haywood is the backup center for Dallas. This should be a cakewalk. Yao is more deserving than both those guys.

None of those 3 are more deserving than the guys listed under them.

Gasol should be the starting center for the West.

Hopefully Yao will have a very good January to prove himself.

I'm still very confused on how Haywood is so high.

They need to change the balloting process to allow guys like Pau Gasol (who has been playing center all year) to start. No center in the West is deserving to be an All-Star starter this year, it might as well be Yao (at least he has career accomplishments which triumph over the other guys, and he was decent when he did play this year, even in 24 minutes per game, I would take him over every other center in the Worstern Conference)

I absolutely love when a Rocket can represent us in the All-Star Game, but Yao shouldn't be in it this year. If anything, he needs to be resting, or be in attendance, but kindly decline like McGrady did. However, Luis and AB should be in the discussion (AB should be recovered by then).

Totally agree... Pau and Tim Duncan will be shoe-ins for the PF spot when they really are Centers. Add in Dirk and its a no-brainer that Forwards like Scola, Millsap, and Kevin Love dont have a shot in hell.

I don't know why people like to vote for Yao. Last year, even though he was healthy, he played like 10 minutes, and Yao himself personally doesn't like playing in the ASG, saying something along the lines of "The game is way too fast paced".

So, even though Yao was an amazing player, vote for him only if you want to see him glued to the bench for 40 minutes.
