Patrick Patterson vs Jordan Hill in hindsight.

At the trade deadline I did a poll on if y'all thought we traded the wrong power forward, now in hindsight, do y'all think that we should've kept Jordan 'Double Double' Hill over Mr Softee?

    Rebounds = Rings.

IMO, we should've kept T-Will too, but that's another topic all together.

Sorry but those are your favorites....
You have to evaluate talent more objectively
Jordan as a Rocket was not worth an 8th pick .....maybe late 20er....
Twill.... nah... he has been a loser....takes a lot to make a winner out of him.

Jordan Hill can actually play the 4, rebound and block shots. He was also working on his 15 ft jumper.

I'm sorry but Pat has not impressed me with anything other than his sweet jumpshot that has turned sour of late.

Biased much? Double-double v Mr Softee

Yes, I'm sure we would win rings if we kept Hill (Rebounds = Rings).

Patterson is smarter, but JHill is a much better athlete and leaper.

If you had to have one for 5 years, it would be Hill, but if you had to win a game today it would probably be Patterson.

I like Pat, I love our team, but Pat has been playing terrible this season, bar a few games.

The Mr Softee tag...29 minutes 1 rebound at 6'9"? Is that Soft?

I am biased towards Hill, because I liked the guy, and he had potential; plus he could rebound the damn ball...our biggest weakness at the moment.

Let me ask you, would you rather have Pat & Scola out there together or J.Hill & Scola?

I'd like to see Morris at his natural position, I think he would make Patterson expendable.

I am with you on this. Patrick did play 10 games of good basketball.. throughout the season and that was not enough....

neither Hill or Williams couldn't get minutes over Patterson.... so we agree that we need better players but Hill and Williams are not those players
    Consistent and less TO guys.

Jordan Hill is a bad defender, even if he blocks a shot now and then.

The choice between Hill and Patterson is kind of like deciding whether you'd rather be punched in the face or kicked in the nuts.

Nah, Jordan Hill is a bust. Patterson has certainly been the most disappointing Rocket for me this season. Add the fact that Scola has also been shakey this year, and we have a PF position in peril. It really begs the question why Marcus Morris coudln't have at least gotten some minutes at the position. I really think Houston screwed up big-time on that.

for a PF he is afraid of contact. he plays soft and small for his position. his jumper is not reliable enuogh. lots of time he just throws the ball aimlesly at the rim hoping it goes in. i say bench him, and play Morris instead. Morris may be smaller but patrick plays small. i am calling him a bust.

last night i was thicnking stromile Swift was more effective than this dude.

The only good think Pat had going for him was the jumper he made when he was wide open.. now even when he's wide open he misses em a lot.. this guy doesn't have much now...

What's crazy is a few seasons ago we had a two headed monster at the 4 spot.. now even thats getting wack.. Scola doesn't even seem the same anymore.. ohh how I miss the times of Scolandry...

    WOW!!!

Really... The man is giving 100% effort every night and still not 100% over his surgery this year and you now you want to evaluate him.. NICE!!!

At least wait until next year after he has had time to recover and time to get in shape.. At least wait until after the mid-way point next season...
