    If you could only have one, would you rather have a Rockets NBA Championship, a Texans Superbowl win, or an Astro World Series win?

    My buddy and I were arguing about this last night. He thinks this is football country and Houstonians would go gaga over a Superbowl win more than anything else. I went with a World Series win. The Beltran fiasco has shown me that this is serious baseball country. Plus the 'Stros have been here longer than the Texans.

    Unfortunatly, the Rockets have always played 3rd fiddle behind Football and Baseball in this city even though they're the only team to win it all. Probably always will.

    So which one do you think Houstonians would go the most crazy with? Which one would you like most?

    I'd love a World Series. A Super Bowl would be fun. The NBA Finals have been fun. But a World freaking Series?? I'd go nuts.

    Sadly, its come to the World Series.

    I'm not a Texans fan (still miss the Oilers)
    We've already got NBA championships.

    I want a World Series trophy to stick up Carlos Beltran's ass.

    If the Oiler's were still here, this would be a landslide; on this board or any other.

    My thoughts:

    1:Superbowl: I'm still a football fanatic. Although I'm still not where I was when the Oiler's were here.

    2:World Series: I never realized how much fun baseball could be until this years playoffs.

    3:NBA Championship: One, we have already done it. Two, basketball isn't as much fun as it was in the 90's. Hopefully that will change.

    We've already had 2 NBA championships.

    With all that "parity" in the NFL, I figure our time will come sooner or later.

    World Series, on the other hand, that would be pretty amazing.

    I'm a football guy. I'd take a Superbowl and then another Superbowl as a close second. I like the Rockets, but I get excited when the Texans are kickin ass.

    I guess if the Rockets weren't so 500ish, I could be steered away.

    Man! This poll is way overskewed. Everyone still has the 'Stro's playoffs fresh in their minds.

    Let's do this in two years. Houston is a football town. Always has been, always will be.
