    their defense also is chit

Numbers are skewed from the beatdown they gave the Sixers/Jazz/Hornets

And our team can't even deliver a beatdown on the Sixers.

but, but, but can they play defense?

Actually, their defense is ranked 13th, kind of average.

It could deliver a beat down to the Heat, who delivered a beatdown to the Mavericks though...

Great offense but average defense at best, will be difficult for the Mavs if they dont improve there. Had a decent game against the Spurs but are still 0-3 against last years playoff teams and had absolutely no chance against Portland & Miami.

They are running a team style spurs type offense this year and they are playing tough defense. They are killing teams like Philly and okc while rockets are struggling to beat those same teams. Coaching matters along with offensive philosophy. Spurs set blueprint after destroying Miami and mavs have copied it

Mavs lost that game by single digits. I wouldn't say they got "beat down." Certainly not in the manner they are trouncing crap teams.

    ETA: 11 points. My b.

So 10 games into the season and people are changing from "LOL @ Cuban" to "they are the only team to challenge the Spurs"?

I don't think they'll necessarily be the only team to challenge the Spurs, but I do think they are a good team right now and will likely get better. I've never thought they were LOL-worthy.

Rockets and Dallas both have good teams. Both are experiencing the highs and lows of the season already.

Both have done great things against weak competition, so far.

It's a long season. Saturday nite will be crazy. Have to hold home court. I suspect Morey is getting ready to pull the trigger on something, with Johnson's demotion. We need a PF pronto with TJ's month long exile and DMo's struggles to handle passes.

    Long season.

We all knew the overreactions of first two weeks were exactly that - overreactions.

My only takeaway is this - how the hell is Carl Herrera still allowed to create threads? He's a garbage poster who openly roots against the Rockets

It's funny how the first what 7 games of the season have been thrown into the trash here, this isn't even by the media but by our own fans now.

What is it with you and your disgust for our team? We are 9-2 (2nd best record in the league).

It's about time you got over letting Parsons go and enjoy the squad that we have here. In addition, we still have plenty of cap flexibility to go out and spend the money we would have on Parsons on a real player that will make a big difference.

Parsons through 11 or so games is averaging 14 points per game on 40% shooting. In addition his defense is junk. Sure sounds like a max player to me.
