    What happened on this play? Bev is crazy for getting in the refs face like that.

    to me, it looked like he couldn't hear Bill Kennedy and was trying to hear what he was saying by getting close

    That's what I thought too.

    At first it looked like he was getting in his face, but on the replay it looked like he was just trying to get close to hear what he was saying.

    Exactly. Kennedy is not a punk who needs a coach to defend him. A technical was called that play...on an OKC player. Beverley would have easily earned a technical had he done anything.

    I was sure that Brooks was going to get a technical by storming on the court like that.

    Lol that game was so intense.

    I remember when Ariza pushed Adams but the camera went away from the altercation and you couldn't see what was happening, I was sure that punches were being thrown lol.

    this, Scott Brooks was running towards them before Beverly even moved.

    Plus who gets someone's face with their ear forward, doesn't make any sense

    Moore, the writer, has some good quality, but yeah the media is going to jump the gun 100% with a player like Bev. Especially in OKC.

    The only qualm I have with people saying Bev was just trying to hear Kennedy is that, in the video, the arena isn't that loud.

    Still, if a player gets too close to a ref, like Bev did, the ref will tech him 1000%, everytime. The fact that Bev did NOT get a tech, to me, shows that perhaps he was just trying to hear what Kennedy had to say.
