    ????

We have high standards as Rockets fans and the highest individual awards won were MVP and Finals MVP.

The guy who did that was Hakeem. If he wins MVP and Finals MVP, then he would be like Hakeem, cause he's done that.

If James Harden won Finals MVP, that means the Rockets won the championship.

    you want that don't you?

    What?

That's a completely different thread. That thead says if Harden could be as good as T-mac.

This thread just asks the question is he good enough to be MVP.

    MVP this season... hellz no.

Finals MVP... the Rockets would have to get there and he'd have to be the most effective scorer for the team on the field. But what drug makes you think that is possible this season and what is the price?

At 23, I don't think he's in a rush for it to be this season

Depends on how well he develops his right hand. OKC was able to shut him down because they know his tendency to always finish left. If he can use both hands, I don't how any team stops him.

Harden is GREAT but while he isn't in a NY media type of market or isn't a player named LeBron, then I just don't see it. MVP is just hard to get.

I see him as a top 5 player in the league though. That's nothing to disdain.

And the only MVP I care about him getting is the Finals MVP. I can see him getting that if he gets a good bunch of players around him.

Scorers of today's game like Kobe, LeBron, even Carmelo go to Dream, a center for advice. Not only on basketball, but in philosophy.

he's spreading the heart of Clutch City around, because it is limitless and all powerful.

James Harden, need only look up in the rafters or talk to his old coach, Scott Brooks to understand the high standards set upon him.
