The Sixers want the top pick, they offered to trade their No. 3 pick and a quality veteran forward in Thaddeus Young. It wasn’t enough, the Cavaliers shrugged. http://probasketballtalk.nbcsports.com/2014/06/26/report-sixers-up-their-offer-to-get-no-1-pick-from-cleveland/?utm_source=dlvr.it&utm_medium=twitter

maybe i'm overthinking this, but it sounds to me like Utah is interested in trading out of that pick if they can get someone to sweeten the pot for them.
Yea they are trying to move up:

Hearing Jazz continue to "frantically" try to move up from the No. 5 spot. What time cst does the actual first pick get called out? I'm not heading home to watch ESPN talking heads jibber jabber with their useless opinions.....
@WojYahooNBA: Noah Vonleh is on the slide in this draft, front office sources tell Yahoo Sports. Best first chance to be picked: Lakers. Gotta say I agree. Said what I did about NV in another thread, but truth is, I was never all that impressed. He has a nice skill set and loads of potential, but I'm really not sold on him at the next level. Never can tell.
