It's pretty much a non-story, once upon a time I could see arguments against Smith, but he's not special not terrible.

 

He's pretty damn bad. He had a stretch of good drafts earlier in the decade, but he's had 1 really good draftee (Hop) in the previous 3 years, and a couple fringe starters (Blue/Griffin) - it's a pretty pathetic haul. Hopefully 2015 & 2016, with B'OB providing more input, improve our percentages.

His biggest misstep is the 1 I give him a pass on - Clowney. 99% of the population and likely 100% of the GMs picks him 1st, but can you imagine if he went bold and grabbed Mack? IIRC, there were many on this board that were calling for Mack over Clowney.

 

Rick doesn't suck, so there's that.
