I was distracted while listening, but I caught some things:

1). If we lose tonight Denver has nothing to play for and we'll likely be the #5 seed. Ouch.

2) A caller asked about Artest killing the offense, chucking bad shots, etc. and Morey praised Ron's game and then said his strengths are his weaknesses and said everbody knows that, right?

3. This surprised me: Wafer's one of our best offensive options when he gets the ball in the right place. Defensively he makes mistakes but his athleticism covers that up somewhat, but he did contrast him with Battier. His next step will be getting RA's trust so he'll play late in games and understand exactly what the opposing team's trying to do.

Is Morey wanting to see more of Wafer in crunchtime?

Wafer always reminds me the good Tmac, his penetration and long jumpers.

 

This definitely flies in the face of a mini-debate I had with someone in a recent thread about Wafer.

 

Morey and I think alike.



It is all about efficiency......Wafer has it.....in spades....and more PT means a better chance of winning and signing him.

Wafer = Tmac lite....or could be.

Ha! It wasn't with you.. I was the one arguing that Wafer would see time in the playoffs, while the other guy was claiming Wafer's D was so bad that he wouldn't see court time in the playoffs. Go figure.

Well we aren't going to lose tonight so the point is mute. If we can't beat Dallas when we have so much to play for, we aren't going to make any noise in the playoffs anyways.

 

Yeah. This is no time for doubt. This team's going to bring it all tonight. I'm hoping for some new offensive wrinkles, but it's just time to kick butt.

 

Denver's starting time is two-and-a-half hours after Houston's, so they can definitely do this. All the more reason for Houston to treat tonight's game like a playoff game.

 

I haven't had the benefit of watching rockets games alot. but if he plays with confidence and minimizes his mistakes...then we should go far with his help.

 

so, it'll suck for Denver...not The Good Guys. Positive, positive.

 

This is the best thing I've read today. Now, I can relax 'cause I know we are gonna make some noise in the playoffs, baby! Ahh, it's gonna be a great night of BB. 3 more hrs. How rare to have like 12 games all tip off @ 7:00, right?
