Somewhere Nene is laughing his a$$ off.

Noah gets his ass handed to him and 24 hours later he is named DPOY.

Noah is a very good player but he is not DPOY good..... what a joke.

Ehhh, that's kinda in the air. Noah is good, but don't think this year was his.

Noah is a great defender and is the heart and soul of that defensive team - I dont mind him winning it at all actually - he makes that chicago bulls team run Thibs' schemes. Much like when Garnett won DPOY.

more deserving than Gasol last year thats for sure.

though its unfortunate he wins it a day after Nene did light him up, but Nene when he is healthy is a tough cover for anyone

He's a hustler playing in Thibodeaus system. Insulting to put him along greats like Deke, Ewing, Dream .. Deandre is more intimidating.

Getting pounded and outweighed by Nene is not fair. He still has a lot of heart and hustle, you can't deny that.

    Lol at hibbert.

I think Noah deserves it. He's the centre piece of the Bull's good defence.

i do like how the voting results are now made public - will put pressure on media members as well to see any biases. But it also is interesting - how does media get voting power? I mean I see that Woj of Yahoo doesnt have a vote but Marc Spears does -- Israel Guitierrez who at least to me is a relatively nobody at ESPN (like their C team's sideline reporter) has a ballot as well.

like the guy who voted Jordan 1st and Paul 3rd -- like WTF?
or PJ Tucker with a first place vote

I know he was hurt but I do find it funny that last year's DPOY got only 4 points total and the previous year's winner didnt even get any
