.........when you face the Rockets! LET'S GO! If I can get that same effort 81 more times, i'll be happy... It seems like our guys did some growing up already.
Wow... This did not deserve a new thread. Heart Wins playoff games, skill wins regular season games...
Really? Even if the result is the same another 50+ times? I agree they played with heart. They fight. They don't give up. But I'm just not sure we have the talent to compete. Of course, if we end up landing a top 5 pick, trading McGrady for something positive and Yao returns healthy next season - then I can safely say I'm happy with the season.
I think this applies to the fans in the game thread too.. every ten posts there's a general mood swing.
I agree. You can say whatever you want about this team. But they play damn hard every night. Sometimes it pays off, sometimes it doesn't. But they never give up while others have already given up on them. I can say that straight up: we are the hardest playing team in the NBA. And you could see in that game that we really haven't developed chemistry yet but you know that will get better. And once it is done we will be a better ballclub. You add McGrady to that team (playing EVERY game) and we can be a pretty good team. We just need SIZE
Actually, I think it is the other way around. Teams that compete every night win their fair share of games in the regular season. In the playoffs, everyone plays hard. For the most part, skill is all that matters in the playoffs.
It's really gonna suck for those of us who get emotionally attached to the team year in and year out. EVERYONE played hard tonight. oh, and motto for this year should have been "SIZE DOESN'T MATTER"
The combination at the end was interesting. Whether intentionally or non-intentionally this was what Adelman was thinking: Brooks and Lowry = Bibby and Jackson(old Kings) Chase = Peja Landry = Webber David Anderson = Divac The played well. The refs cost us a few points though but it didn't make a difference.
Post title should be our moto! Put that on a flag, a banner, bumper sticker or shirt and head to Toyota Center..
it's gonna be great next year. i can already tell. These young guys will learn fast. They'll have lots of minutes under their belt by January.
Yep I see this entire season postive no matter what the outcome. Devoloping team chemistry and working on devoloping sold fundamental ball players. We can all take something positive from this season seriously
The heart, grit and pride is there. That was never in question. But the Rockets have a lot of work to do. But tomorrow's game will be a better indicator of where we are as a team. The Warriors are of our class of team, not the Blazers.
