I'm now done with ESPN. Used to be my go to for quick updates on what's going on, but their new website bites. Not to mention it's getting more and more painful to watch. Need another means to kill part of my day. What's your current go to? came across this out of desperation for something new: http://www.ebizmba.com/articles/sports-websites
For quick updates I prefer NBC Sports- ProFootballTalk/ProBasketballTalk/ProSoccerTalk/ProHockeyTalk etc. Yahoo Sports is better than it used to be. ESPN is crap now, Fox Sports is equally $hitty.
The Team Stream Bleacher Report app is pretty good. But if you "follow" the Texans you are going to have to sift through the occasional JJ Watt does the YMCA at a kids birthday party story.
For eggball - www.faketoughguysport.com For basketball - www.clutchfans.net For football - www.skysports.com or even www.espnfc.us For cricket - www.cricinfo.com For wrestling - www.wwe.com
Sports Illustrated has always been my favorite. It used to be better when Kelly Dwyer was on there for NBA but Peter King and Don Banks are great for the NFL.
I still go to yahoo sports - more out of habit than anything else. But it's getting truly awful. Gives me an overview of what's up/happened, and if I want more details I go elsewhere.
For news, I'll hit up BleacherReport and Yahoo mostly. Can't stand Si's or ESPN's sites. For sports stories I'll head to Deadspin or Grantland. But most of the news I receive is through Twitter notifications of sports reporters I follow. Of which gives you the most current sports news/data if you're following the right guys/gals.
