We have all seen a lot of pics of D12 enjoying his summer and doing the things 12 years old do this time of year. Great seeing him in the community, however, what is he doing to improve his basketball game? Posting/pics would be helpful, last but not least did he hire a free throw shooting coach?

He is the number 1 key to winning a championship, everything else is window dressing.

He will do the same thing that had him just playing at an extremely high level in the playoffs just 2 months ago.

    Happy?

just let the guys enjoy their summer!! You know there are 24 hours in a day and guys can get in multiple workouts a day and still enjoy life - no matter where in the world they might be.

Dwight's been in the league long enough - he knows what he has to do!

Seriously, not moaning, just remember the work Hakeem, Moses, and our other centers put into improve their games each in every year in a hot box called Fonde!

How do you know Dwight's not putting in work?

He can train/workout/practice for 8-10 hours in the day (like most of us go to work), and still enjoy the remaining 14-16 hours of his day.

Do you expect Dwight to train 24/7 in the off-season? If that's what you're expecting out of Dwight over the summer, then you should probably also expect him to miss half the season due to injuries/needed rest. (See Yao Ming)

Dwight is who he is, we are not getting a super dedicated guy, he is a psychical specimen, who plays ball.

The sooner we realize he is a goofball and not Hakeem the better.

Dwight is who he is, we are not getting a basketball slave, he is a human being, who plays ball.

Resting and doing exactly what he did in the playoffs - sticking to alley-ups, put backs, rebounds and playing huge D. D-Mo should post up, D12 to do his things and that will be huge frontline if both will be 100% ready for the playoffs.

    OP:

-What do you do for a living?
-What do you do when on vacation?

If you are a CPA, do we need to see that you are reading up on the new tax laws on your time off? Dwight is a human being who is allowed to enjoy himself by going to comic con, buying a snake, or whatever it is he wants to do just as it is your right on your vacation as well.

Teachers get off for 2+ months of a year according to their calendar, but if you take the hours that a teacher (especially those who coach), and divide it across a year, they work well over a normal 40 hour week for the entire year. Much like that, NBA players typically spend a good 10 months of the year killing themselves over their job.

That being said, Dwight's issue with free throws has nothing to do with him putting in work in the off-season. The guy makes like 75% of his free throws in practice apparently. Its a mental issue when he gets in games. The guy works on his craft much more than most of us work on ours.

He might have a team of personal trainers assigned to him by the Rockets that have an offseason regimen all lined up for him. I know that's a stretch, but it is entirely plausible.

The only thing i care for Dwight to practice on, is his free throws. That takes little to no effort. Just that muscle memory.
