If goff is off the board when we pick I have a feeling we go defense first round.

The QB's we have now are terrible. Jones falling in the draft is perfect for us. He can't be any worse than who we have now. Talk about getting benched.

Just what this team needs, more defense! Who needs points?

Its crazy how fast your window closes in the NFL.

I think its far too early to truely assess these past two draft classes, but we're going to need to string up a few 2006-esque draft classes to have a sustainable turnaround.

I wish the Texans had a Morey/Luhnow type guy at the helm.

At the rate Jones is going, i say he goes rounds 3-5. That gives us ample opportunity to fix up the o-line with earlier picks.

The Texans need to stop drafting defense. Don't they always draft defense yet the defense continues to be real real bad

Top players you got in a draft are always offensive line or defensive ends. Those have the biggest potential. Corners. Safety. RB rarely have that value. WR or QB if they seem like a sure pick.

Lol. A couple of 2006 is not required to be a very successful franchise.

    1) very good coaching staff
    2) very good QB

We need to keep trying to draft QBs til we get in.. doesnt always have to be tirst round either.

Look at Tenn 3 1st round QBs since 2006 and they finally struck with MM.

We've only tried once to get a franchise QB... 13 years ago. Thats why we suck asd

I understand that completely but I'm not sure when we pick if there would be a offensive player worth taking.

Since we suck with picks anyways, why not try to trade our entire draft to get someone like Rodgers? I'm still mad that we didn't try to trade for Rivers during the off-season.

Trade all our picks (Saints-esque) for #2... Pick Goff at one and Fournette at two... BOOM! #DynastyInTheMaking

I thought all of the football world knew Fournette is not eligible till 2017.

Doesn't matter, we'll still be able to get him then too.

I'm getting sold on goff more and more. If we could get him first round and then draft James Conner in the 2nd I'll be ecstatic. I think Conner sees the situation with Myles jack and leaves like jack.

I think if he leaves, he might drop to the third round-ish. Just a feeling. I still feel like Conner may stay. Unless he can come back for a game or two this year.

For some reason, I feel like Jack totally unenrolling from school will hurt his stock. Not sure why you'd do that? You still get a free ride when you're hurt. It shows bad decision making.

    Even better if he drops.
