He's on their practice squad. Any team can sign him if they want. Just move on. It was fun while it lasted.
Will be interesting to see if Case can get a job next season. I think this is the last year he's eligible to be on a practice squad.
He will always be invited to training camps... but will have to beat out the other guys to be a #2 or #3. I think its now safe to say that he won't be another Kurt Warner or Tony Romo. If he doesn't beat them out, he may have to look at the CFL if he wants to continue playing... or simply just go into coaching (like Sean Payton, Kubiak, and a litany of other failed QB's that turned into offensive gurus).
I'm just glad he got a run to prove himself. It didn't really work out here. He was ok. but good chance to show if he could deliver. I never felt like Andre Ware got a real opportunity with Fontes switching qb's every 3 games and so this was a bit of redemption in the sense he got a fair look.
