Yeah it was a really good adjustment and I'm glad they made it. DMo didn't play poorly, he just wasn't the guy they needed on the court last night.
Match up with the Thunder, and be able to keep two guys at the 3/4 spot at all times that could stay in front and face guard Durant. The Thunder went small, and McHale went smaller. Good call by McHale, and Garcia earns his million dollars solely for these Thunder games when the Rockets need to go small.
Dmo looked really good while he was in and I would have loved to have seen more, but considering how easily KD can draw fouls on people, and how DMO is a foul magnet, I guess it was for the best. Thank god Garcia showed up. Even got in KD's face at one point. The mean mug master.
i wish they would go to DMO down low a little more but he sets awesome screens.. he needs to be more confident receiving the ball off the pick and roll.
imho this thread isn't getting enough love, just think of the hours of joy DMo has brought us all these past few days
