The season only has a month left, and we are witnessing some great individual seasons this year. I think the top 10 has shaken up quite a bit. Here is my top 10:

    1) Lebron James
    2) Kevin Durant
    3) Dwight Howard
    4) Kevin Love
    5) Chris Paul
    6) Dwayne Wade
    7) Russell Westbrook
    8) Derrick Rose
    9) Kobe Bryant
    10) Dirk Nowitzki

    Most surprising player: Kevin Love
    Most disappointing player: Carmelo Anthony

    Yours?

Dirk should be no lower than top 3. Parker should be on some lists.

    1. Westbrook should be the first PG on the list
    2. Kevin Love's team is still not in the playoffs picture as of today despite of the numbers he puts up.
    3. Dirk has only started to play better this past month and should not be higher than 8 on the list.
    4. Kobe is still a top five player.

Love has had some beastly rebounding games, but Dwight is still averaging more rebounds/game than Love is. And yeah, Love is averaging 26 points a game compared to Howard's 21, but Love is also taking 5 more shots a game to do it. Howard's 58% FG percentage is downright beastly.

It's a ranking for this season. Have you watched Dirk play this season to put him in the top 3?

No, I also take into account defense, and Dwight is still the best defender in the league.

    1) It's arguable that WB could be higher than Paul, but you can't average 5 dimes and be #1 to me. Chris Paul is a more well-rounded PG this season.
    2) Kevin Love IS the only reason the Wolves are relevant, and has a chance at even sniffing the playoffs. Kobe by himself one year couldn't get into the playoffs.
    3) I was hesitant to put Dirk even into the top 10 b/c outside of scoring, he literally sucks at everything else on the court. It was a respect thing for me to put him at #10.
    4) A guy shooting 42% overall and 28% on 3s isn't a top 5 player.

    Some more kobe stats:
Kobe is shooting a 52.6% true shooting percentage. This is the worst of his career behind 2001-2002 (54.3%)
Kobe is taking 25.1 true shots per 36 minutes. This is the 2nd most in his career behind 2005-2006 (27.9)
Kobe is getting 3.6 turnovers per 36 minutes. This is the 2nd worst of his career behind 1996-1997 (3.7)
Kobe is getting 1.2 steals per 36 minutes. This is a career low for him tied with with 2004-2005.
Kobe’s 4.4 assists per 36 minutes are the lowest he’s had since 2005-2006.

I'd probably change that to top 4. His team is not good. Having Westbrook, Paul, and Bryant ahead of him is a complete joke. The Bulls have been great this year w/o Rose as well.

This is hard. My first stab:

    1A. LeBron
    1B. KD
    3. Wade
    4. CP3
    5. Howard
    6. Love
    7. Rose
    8. Kobe
    9. Westbrook
    10. Parker

Kobe's recently inefficiency pulls him down. If he hadn't started the season like Superman, he wouldn't be top 10.

Dirk clearly doesn't deserve to be top 10 IMO. He's finally getting it together though. The flow of his season is the opposite of Kobe's. I expect Dirk to be in assassin mode in the playoffs.

And? Dallas is 2.5 back of LA, .5 behind LAC.
