Henry, Grizzlies remain in contract dispute

    There was already a thread about this in the draft board, however Henry has already been drafted so I think its better to move this topic here.

    Look like the dispute is about the 20% increase in the base salary that's now become standard for rookies drafted in the first round. Honestly I can't see why the Grizz are haggling over this. 20% of a rookie scale salary's probably just chump change, and as their agent has pointed out they're doing something that has only been done once in history before. The kicker is Henry isn't the only one being stiffed, Greivis Vasquez has also been given the same contract and has joined Henry in sitting out.

    If we include Lee or Martin in a trade for Carmelo, I would take a look at him. Use one of our trade exceptions, maybe the Landry one for him.

    But with our roster right now, I just don't see a use for him. He's gonna be like Taylor, in and out of the d-league rotting on the bench. Martin, Lee, Budinger, and Battier is enough already.
