Part I: http://sports.espn.go.com/stations/player?id=4363791 Part II: http://sports.espn.go.com/stations/player?id=4363833 I only listened to part I so far. Not much Rockets talk (except about the whole Artest/Ariza switch, particularly in light of the Odom situation). But if you are jonesing for NBA discussions, here's two hours worth of it.
Thanks for the heads up. Will listen to completely while at work tomorrow... *looks at time* .... today.
Definitely entertaining discussion. Fairly candid as well. Thanks for the heads up. The discussion on the Dallas Mavericks and their recent moves was interesting. Will be interesting to see how that team will be like this upcoming season.
A few points: 1. They are generally in agreement that Lakers are acting strangely this summer. If they don't sign Odom, they are not favorites to win the championship. 2. They like Ariza, think he was big part of what they did. Think Artest lost some atheleticism, and is still crazy. Think it's nuts to not sign Ariza and then give Artest 5 years. 3. Stein and Simmons argue over how good Dallas is. Stein think Dallas made a good move in adding Marion. Simmons think theya are collecting 2004 All Stars in 2009. 4. They also argued over David Lee. Stein/Bucher think he's not nearly as good as his stats. Simmons disagree.
