3 point shooting and adding wins

    Maybe we don't have to run as much because we can now shoot?
    Ie, we push the pace, but if it isn't easy, we can 'settle' for halfcourt, knowing that the spacing is there.

    OR [my opinion] the defence reduces the pace. Playing defence slows down the oppositions possessions, and therefore the overall pace of the game.

    We all know from being Rockets fans that Moreyball is all about 3's and layups. Mid 30's 3 point shooting is probably close to 50% 2 point so why even shoot the mid range? I doubt anyone on our team will finish the year 40% or higher and it does not matter unless they start shooting low 30's or below.
