    42 points
15-24 FG shooting (5-7 from deep)
    7-7 from the FT line

    - this is Harden's 16th career 40+ point game
    - this is Harden's 1st career 40+ point game where he didn't make 10+ FTs

I love Harden's ability to draw fouls, I disagree with those who say it isn't pretty to watch. But at the same time, it's absolutely a nice sight to see him dominate a game without needing to live at the line.

First time in Harden's entire career that he drops 40+ without making 10+ from the FT line, only making 7. 15-24 from the field. This is the type of shooting performance we needed from James after his rough 1st two games from the field.

Best Harden playoff game as a Rocket. Clutch 2nd half. Hopefully he tops it in Game 4.

It's actually one of the best playoffs performances in rockets and NBA history only 5 players have put those numbers up or better since 85'. This guy is good he was only 7 points away from Hakeem's playoffs record and Hakeem needed 2ots to get it. This guy james harden is playing even more under control and even better than regular season he's def upped his play this playoffs.

Now this is a stat to take notice of. Flawless Harden performance. In my opinion, it might be his best one as a Rocket to date.

Harden was great all game but he went really put the team on his back in the 3rd with 17 points. He dug the team out of the defecit with his scoring and then put them ahead with a few nice assists to end the quarter. They didn't look back since.

For those of you who are too stupid to realize that Harden has actually been playing well in spite of his shooting, are you guys happy now?

Congrats to Harden for finally having a great playoff performance as a Rockets. But I can't get too excited as it's against by far the softest and appropriately the worst defensive team in the playoffs.

But I am genuinely excited about Howard dominance in the paint. I thought Chandler would surely take his lunch money in this series. Congrats to Dwight.

Nah man. This was his first good playoff game in a Rockets uniform. Starting to get the feeling we should trade the guy. Dude can't even be the favorite for MVP. 2nd favorite? Not worth our time.

I respect Hubie as an coach and announcer, and I think that was more of a "Oh man, are these guys getting worked!" thing from him, not at all anti-Rocket.
