Rockets are not going to come close to winning the ring if Ty Lawson is not integrated This Harden 100% ball handling can eek out regular season wins but come playoff time, it's not a recipe for success
Yup, agreed. If we aren't gonna use him, might as well cut him now and get another creator that doesn't play scared.
Pretty much. He wasn't even horrible in the previous game and looked decent which makes this all the more mysterious. I wonder if there have been locker room issues and he's in the doghouse as a result. Otherwise he's too good of a player to just get DNP-CDs
Brewer did do well when he played today. I think we are starting to find our groove. Just keep fighting all game
Just to say you have to think about what Bickerstaff's goals are. I doubt it's to win the chip - it's more about stacking up wins so he can be the coach next season.
Yes sir, I concur. And to be honest this 'Harden do it all' every time down is starting to wear on me. He can't sustain a high shooting rate and make the correct pass every time. Settling for that 'dribble, dribble, dribble, dribble, shake-step back 3' looks ugly. Guess he is too tired to do much else by the end of the game. We need Ty to be a part of this..
It's not like there still isn't 3/4 of the season left to integrate him . He obviously isn't right on the floor and isn't playing well in practice... Otherwise he'd be in the game . He needs a few games off to get his head straight and learn the rockets defense like the back of his hand . He has been a complete liability on the floor , we need wins right now to build some confidence and let the guys who are playing get in a rhythm. There will be plenty of time to experiment with TY after we get rolling a bit better .
When Brewer played in the second half, he turned it out two straight possessions and didn't play another minute. He did make his first layup in transition this season in the first half, so he's got that going for him.
