    The schedule makers have been horrible this year at spreading out the number of games per day and the quality of the games. You'll have some complete duds like tonight and some days with 3 or 4 great matchups.

    Does anyone know who schedules all these Lakers and Knicks games on TNT? Is it the league or the network? All I know is Barkley is getting fed up with having to watch those two teams all the time on Thursdays and I don't blame him.

    Is the "large market" argument still valid? I mean, all those people that voted Kobe and Melo into the games are presumably still watching LAL and NYK play.

    Though Kobe is out, it doesn't hurt that LAL has Lin.

    I have no idea what kind of ratings Lakers and Knicks games draw nationally. I just can't imagine what the appeal is in spending 2 1/2 hours(or 2 1/2 minutes for that matter) sitting through a game featuring a 9 or 12 win team.

    They should remove those games whenever they can show someone else. The Lakers don't even have Kobe as a draw anymore.

    I haven't whined much about TNT Thursdays this season but here is another reason to despise them:

    The limiting (or elimination) other NBA games being played on the same day means we are sometimes stuck like this with no alternative.

    Lawson is very disinterested in defense and getting outplayed badly so far by opponent's backup PG.

    Nuggets look terrible. No flow on offense. Everyone is looking for their own shots only.

    Morey has to be looking at Lawson, but he is getting out played by freaking Udrih. Udrih is a good player but he looks like an elite PG out there.

    Lawson is absolutely terrible on the floor, lazy defense, lazy pass, and not even aggressive to attack.
