Who would make up the World team? Are there even enough players to field a competitive side?

I don't see this being viable every year. We happen to have had a lot of international players the past two years but what about when there is a two year stretch with very few international players?

There are a lot when you actually look through the list.

U.S. Would still be favored, but a competitive team could definitely be put together

Dirk, Both Gasols, Horford, Parker, Bogut, Ibaka, Rubio, Dmo, Jonas V, Nikola V and a fair amount if others.

They would have an excellent big man rotation. Wings are pretty weak.

I wouldn't want to split our allstar team up for that, that sounds awful.

Mirotic should be a lock. Olynyk is Canadian i think. Schroeder, Gobert, maybe Len.

Since it's 4 guards-4 bigs-2 randoms and at least 3 from each class it should be:

    Schroeder
    Giannis
    Dellevedova
    Exum
    Mirotic
    Gobert
    Dieng
    Olynyk
    K-Pap
    whoever

You guys are forgetting Steven Adams (he's a soph!), Jusuf Nurkic and maybe even Capela.

That world team is looking pretty strong

Ahh... For some reason when I first read one of the tweets I thought it said they would like to make the actual all star game USA vs the world.

USA team would actually be pretty bad. Victor Oladipo, Cody Zeller, MCW, Trey Burke, Nerlens Noel, Mason Plumlee, Elfrid Payton. Jabari Parker and Julius Randle are injured.
