I'm starting to wonder how serious this injury really is. He's been out for a whole year and still needs 2 months of the regular season? I guess Morey saw this coming and is the reason for the Brad Miller signing.

They needed a backup center regardless of Yao's health, signing Miller has almost nothing to do with Yao.

I think Yao is done. The reasons:

    1. If he is confident his body will be fine, he would opt out to get paid.

    2. Morey knows he is done that's why Miller was signed.

    3. This rumor??

Link doesn't take me to basketball story on my iPhone.

It quickly directs to another story on site...

    makes perfect sense.

I always believed its better to allow Yao to finish the season in the playoffs, rather than starting all 82 games (missing playoffs or getting hurt in the playoffs)

Our team is good enough to win games, especially with Miller as our starting center for the 1st 2 months.

This guy (Gery Woelfel) is the Milwaukee Bucks' beat writer. I think he has a good reputation, but honestly I don't see how he would have information about the Rockets or Yao Ming.

    Yeah, this might be bs.

But, I'm getting soooooo tired of this. I don't have an endless supply of hope and each little bs twit is sapping me of anything I might have left for Yao.

I am calling BS, all Houston sources said he is ahead of schedule and will be there for the start of the season.

On twitter this was Yao's message to Bosh:

"Hey Chris, hopefully you'll play with us (Rockets) next season. I'll be healthy and I'd really look forward to playing together"

I don't think Yao would lie about his health.

And here comes panic over absolutely nothing... we haven't had that in a while.

THINK ABOUT THIS. They're hopeful Yao will be ready to go for the regular-season opener. All signs of late are that he will be. But if he's not, they'll let him rest up to another couple of months, as opposed to rushing it. Is this anything that wasn't beyond obvious and that we didn't already know?

What would you say if someone "tweeted" something along the lines of "if Yao Ming isn't healthy, he won't play"? You'd probably say well, duh. This is just a fancy way of saying exactly that. Nothing to see here.

    I Say BullSh**(

Every person on here has heard in Yao's own voice, Morey, and anyone else speaking from the Rockets that Yao is ahead of schedule and that schedule is for him to be at training camp.
