Devin Harris - for being the worst flopper in the game, for playing dirty 5. Eric Dampier - for claiming to be the 2nd best center in the league 6. Jerry Stackhouse - for his attitude and ... Oops. I guess there's more reasons to hate the mavs after all.

Rivalries don't have to be competitive to still be a rivalry. The Mavs don't have a single thing I want. I'm happy enough with my own flawed Rockets to envy Dallas's years of sucking followed by a few good years of choking in the playoffs. Kam had it right. Dallas is more than enough reason for a Houstonian to foster hatred/a rivalry with it.

Cuban was the first reason why I hated the Mavs a long time ago. I was fine with them until he came along. I was also fine with the the Spurs until Gino came along waving around his floppy disk.

we used to have Kelena Azubuike but our coach released him and now he has a HIGH PER and plays for a team that moves the ball. And he is 6-5 and athletic. But some still feel JVG was a genius......
I can only think of three. 1) Mark Cuban is a nuevo-riche arse. 2) Don Nelson recognized the value of matchups in selecting personnel. 3) Avery Johnson and Donny Nelson learned Don Nelson's matchup philosophy too well and semi-enhanced it.
