Described as a "master motivator", for an example, check out the last minute of the video below.

Haven't read this, but looks like a magazine article highlighting him and Penn's S & C program:

    4 minute feature on Fitzgerald:

i figured i'd put this here....watching this clip of JJ moving on the ice reminds me of Dream as a soccer player. Both have great athleticism that was very likely developed through playing a different sport. Basketball can be a bit too unilateral compared to soccer and hockey.

The Texans really, really needed this guy. He gets me excited just listening to him. Kubiak puts me to sleep. All of the Kubiak interviews I listened to are moments of my life wasted forever. I can't get those minutes back. Kubiak has one of the most unmotivating personas ever.

I would LOVE to see JJ Watt check a dude into the boards at full speed.

The part in the video where Craig took his shirt off and started gettin' hype was awesome. My heart rate increased sitting at my desk...

Yes. I agree that MMA training is great for conditioning, agilitiy, and coordination, but the last thing we need is for someone to dislocate an elbow due to an arm bar. Anyone remember the ax incident when someone nearly chopped off their foot?

And for the record, I'm quoting RV6's quote from the article.

I'm not sure how to take that piece of information, just yet. It could mean they will just take training aspects from MMA, without any actual work inside an octagon. Or they could do a stripped down version of a fight, where there's less risk for injury.

I'm pretty sure it's just MMA style of training...they aren't going to be practicing rear naked chokes or the triangle choke.

Train in an mma gym for a week and you'll understand how it translates. MMA conditioning is way safer than crossfit. I'd be more concerned if they were doing crossfit crap. MMA conditioning is gonna get those guys ready to kill
