No after this came out they said and are saying "he will not play", not reports are saying but "he will not play" as if they know more than anyone else! In other words, you refuse to explain what you meant by, " If Romo plays espn should be accountable for false reporting". Tell us what should be done (and by whom) to enforce accountability on ESPN. Simple question. Freedom of the press in this case means the freedom to report what a source says.
I understand the fact of reporting what sources say and making it known that sources have said this but when I see Sportscenter open up with top story is Romo is out for season without mention that it is sources instead they make it appear as fact is what im talking about.

No, because they did always say that. If you just listen to headlines instead of listening to the details of a story, that's on you. You evidence otherwise of "BS, NO it hasnt. Believe what ya want." is not terribly compelling.
I guess a disclaimer at the end of the program would be good enough for you. " all statements made by espn were told by sources to schefter or mortensen and may or may not be true and was solely for entertainment purposes". Now that Romo had the surgery i have no problem with them shouting it from the rooftops because its a fact not speculation. Btw it is still BS.
