True, but I don't have any doubts about his ability to score especially in the post. What I do have doubts about are his character and maturity. I know we just relieved ourselves of declining center with questionable maturity, but are we sure we want to take on Boogie's baggage?
LA made a lot of win now moves. They are always about getting the big name. They would still keep there big time prospect Ingram and integrate him into a team posed to compete and IMO would be better for his development. Also I'm not so sure how much Russell has after his snitching thing. That was really huge and idk how much they want to keep him around if no one trusts him. Randle is good but he isn't great. LA gives up the most "prospects" but also gets the best player along with a draft pick. Cleveland adds some depth and perimeter defense which they absolutely will need when thinking about gsw. Dmo is a serviceable replacement for love as well as a serviceable backup for Tristan. Houston rebuilds around harden and gets younger along with some potential. Gives us much much more upside as well as flexibility. We become weak on the wing and defensively but cmon, dantoni...
http://www.espn.com/nba/tradeMachine?tradeId=zpzb4r4 Rockets try and get pg Kay Feldler also from Cleveland....
If it means we return to contention in the West? Absolutely. Let the coach and owner deal with his "baggage". That's why we give them all our money.
http://www.espn.com/nba/tradeMachine?tradeId=j2xy8cy Boston can send picks to Sac and whatever else to make happen. If we can't D. Cousins might as well get more offensive power...Wouldn't mind taking a flyer on Tomas S. kid from Washington also although that's probably pipe dreaming.
Kay is not available. Not will he be. He is Cleveland's cheap Delly replacement. He's going to make Cleveland's even better. We should've drafted the kid.
Yea been a huge fan of his for awhile now...I think if we gave up Bev. Cleveland might do it since Bron seem to be high on P.B. Most likely its a definitely a pipe dream
Trade with Detroit for Aron Baynes. Baynes isn't their future plan as backup C, they signed Marjanovic for that honour. But Baynes is a more than capable backup big, and quite cheap at 'only' $6.5mill. Can guard the ring, finish with either hand inside, solid rebounder, runs the floor, and is 80% from the charity stripe on his career. Maybe we could S&T Donuts to them? (lol)
Good trade for all teams... Love and Ingram are a nice mix of young and Vet players. Ariza and Bev are good fits in Clev. and Dmo is a poor mans Love. Houston Gets younger and adds potential. Good both ways! There is no downside to this trade other than LA losing some youth which I think they might be ok with if they can get LOVE....
That is not a good trade for all teams. The downside for Cleveland is that they are giving up a piece of a championship team and adding role players. Too many posters spend too much time playing with trades on paper and think they've outsmarted professional front offices. Cleveland aren't saying "Love didnt meet expectations last year, lets add role players to try and repeat" They're saying "Let's figure out a way to bring more out of Love this year so we can be even better than last year, which will give us the best shot at a title." Nothing short of getting a player back like Demarcus Cousins will make Cleveland consider trading Love. We have to start using more common sense in this thread
lmao. You're smoking some good ish if you think the Rockets can get Russell and Rande for a declining Ariza, a broken down Motie, and Bev. Cavs would also say no pretty quickly but the Lakers aren't going to give up IMO a potential star in Russell for Love.
