That's a rough matchup for them though, the Bengals are legit.

Bills receivers are already throwing EJ Manuel into the dumpster. I guess the team will wait until offseason. It might be awkward if Orton gets hurt.

Watkins sees differences between Orton and Manuel

The Kyle Orton era has begun in Buffalo, and Bills players already see the difference with the veteran passer running the show.

"We just had a different approach to practice," wide receiver Sammy Watkins said, according to ESPN.com. "(Orton) demands what he wants out of us. He's more of a veteran guy. The way he talked, the way he handles business, the way he looks at plays and breaks down defenses, it's kind of different than EJ.

"He reads it quicker, the ball is coming out faster. That's just some things that we have to adjust to."

Wide receiver Robert Woods has also picked up on the change.

"His directness in the huddle," he said, "telling us what to look for and be ready for when we're breaking the huddle when he calls the play."

Bills receivers had no problem making a direct comparison between quarterbacks, but Orton wasn't nearly as comfortable when prompted to do the same. During a meeting with reporters in front of his locker, Orton was asked how he'll run the offense better than Manuel.

"Not saying that I will," Orton replied. "I mean, that's a loaded question. That's a crap question."

These have to be trying times for Manuel. His team no longer sees him as the answer; reporters have migrated over to a different quarterback's locker; and teammates have wasted no time explaining how the new guy does it better.

Fortunes change fast in the NFL. Manuel is living proof.

I agree. I wouldn't put my money on NE, in fact I put my money on KC on Monday, but they still have a decent shot at that game. It'd hardly be a miracle.

Yup, last week the Vikings get over 500 yards of offense, this week they play a team with a defense and it looks pretty brutal.

The Teddy crowd wouldn't blame him, they'd blame everyone else. One of the most pronounced differences from this week to last is the inability so far to run the ball. They got 200+ yards on the ground last week and have been stuffed so far.

That hit on Ponder would've been flagged if it were Watt. Right at the knees.

Wtf? Why wasnt that a flag on the hit on Ponder? I guess the refs choose what team they enforce it against. Man im tired of the inconsistent calls that we seem to get screwed by.

Yeah that was a low hit, but the throw was pretty solid, the receiver has to catch that.

Surely you aren't going to act like Christian Ponder, as well as the heavy rain, doesn't entice the Packers to play the run much more than Atlanta had to.

Well it wouldn't matter if it was Bridgewater or Ponder out there due to the rain, the main difference is that the Packers have a competent defense, the Falcons don't.

They keep trying to force it to Wright....he's their 3rd best WR, it doesn't make sense.
