I would be ashamed if I was a Mavericks fan....good thing I am not, so I can just laugh at the embarrassment they just caused their entire fan base.
That was like watching a horrific car crash, you hate what you are seeing, but you can't help but watch in some kind of trance-like horror...
Here's the thing with Parsons. He's so desperate to be liked that he placates to Dallas fans' inferiority complex with Houston every chance he gets. Yes, it's an inferiority complex that projects such cattiness. Saying things like 'Houston is boring', 'Dallas is just a cleaner, nicer city', and now, 'left Houston so easily'. These are shots at Houston, the city -- more so than the Rockets organization. In doing so, he's merely projecting his own insecurity, which leads to his attention whoredoms. Most mature, 'professional' athletes would refrain from blasting the city of their former team. But Parsons, much like a ditzy high school chick bouncing between cliques, is an opportunist who will always diss her former girlfriends in order to gain sympathy and acceptance from her new clique. These aspects of him make me question his character and overall manliness. I'm sure some of his veteran Dallas teammates have also taken notice -- including his no-nonsense coach.
