I'd be happy if they made it to the playoffs since that means Durant is likely back 100%. I just don't see how he makes it back to 100% this year and I don't see him suiting up until Jan.
Now we can finally see Scottie Brooks' coaching prowess. Their offense has (smartly) been based on Westbrook and Durant creating and now with both out it will be interesting to see how their style changes.
Now it's going to run through Perry Jones and Reggie Jackson. It will probably be the same, just much much worse.
if the thunder tank in the beginning with westbrook and durant out, but then play the remaining part of the season with both back, clawing themselves out of the hole.... it's gonna be pretty funny if they land the 7th/8th spot in the playoffs with a healthy roster. #1/#2 has to face Thunder in first round... teh suck
I wouldn't bet on that. They can still beat a lot of the teams in the east, and some teams in the west. The just need to avoid a complete collapse until their stars return.

Are the people saying they will make the playoffs Thunder fans in here? Sure there is a chance they MIGHT make it but that current team without KD/Westbrook is gonna lose A LOT of games
No playoffs for OKC. Doesn't matter anyway sine they are stuck in second round exit mode until they upgrade talent.
Obviously they don't need to upgrade SF or PG (or PF) but you can't deny that this team has come up short over the last couple of seasons. And there is that tiny detail of James Harden (he is pretty good if you didn't know) being on the team when they made it to the Finals. Would you take OKC vs SA in a seven gsme series? If so, you're the only one.
