I'm not expecting much right off the bat but there's always hope. I still think an attacking midfielder is our biggest need.

Will Bruin looked like an athlete, wtf?

Very nice win. I'll give credit where credit is due. Will Bruin played really well tonight. I think Coyle might have found what's going to work for this team. They're often not going to be the most talented team on the field. They're going to have to out work the other team for 90 minutes and be that team that other teams hate to play. Bruin simply worked harder than the Portland back line and it turned into 2 goals. The second was a thing of beauty. He finished his run and the Portland defender had no idea he was there...then had probably one of the best single touches of his career to put it over the keeper and in.

I like Barnes in that DeRo role behind the forward. It looked great tonight and will be even more dangerous when Torres gets here. The defense was solid and Beasley is getting back to his old self and becoming more dangerous down the wing. Deric made some silly mistakes but they were ultimately harmless.

First win streak of the season.

Wow, LA gets a red card in the 96th minute, clearly IN THE BOX, but no penalty....

Now I'm going with a homey.

I wonder if Yaya Touré plays the entire game...

I predict one half (45 min.) Who knows:confused:

I think the 1st half will be the starters then 2nd half will be bench players.

I guess it's because the rain/storms hitting through the area from the past few days had an effect on the field of the stadium. Very unfortunate for everyone.

The field's surface is unplayable. It's a difficult decision. I don't blame them but still they should have done this in advance like 24 hours before to inform everyone.
