For me, there was Scooby Doo, Speed Racer, and Johnny Quest....Bugs, RR.... Scooby Doo was far and away my favorite though. As a kid (from that perspective), and going back later you can see so much of the social commentary of the sixties. What a classic intro.... http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=hTq6nwO4oJU
Tom and Jerry, but the 2nd cartoon of the 3 was always my favorite when they had Droopy, The Car of Tomorrow, Billy Boy Boy Boy Boy Boy, ect...... Scooby was a close 2nd. Dungeons and Dragon was my on favorite Saturday morning.
We're getting Rajon Rondo?! Itshappening.gif But to stay on topic. Mine were : Scooby Doo The Jetsons Dexters Lab Johnny Bravo Rugrats Doug Dragonball Z Animaniacs Hey Arnold Batman the animated series Can't think of any more but damn there was a lot of good stuff on back then.
Doraemon Saint Seiya Scooby Doo Rugrats Historia These really left a mark in my childhood. Kids these days with their Spongebob and whatnot don't know what good cartoon is.
Aha...When I wrote the Road Runner abbreviation, I almost put.."and I don't mean Rajon or Ricky in this post" How about the "Laff A Lympics" ?
Too many to name from the Voltrons, Transformers, even Transor Z and GoBot I was fascinated by cartoons Dungeons and Dragons Woody Wood Pecker Robotech even G Force Rocket River

Loved hong Kong Phoey. Watched it again recently and it was pretty bad. Also loved Tennessee Tuxedo and Underdog, with their associated shows: Commander McBragg, Go Go Gophers, Klondike Cat, Fractured Fairy Tales etc.
In no particular order. Flintstones Jetsons Scooby Doo Hong Kong Phooey Jabberjaw Woody Woodpecker Droopy Tom and Jerry Bugs Bunny Probably shows my age.
-DuckTales -Darkwing Duck (Which basically merged Scrooge, LaunchPad, GizmoDuck and got rid of the MCDuff electronics stereotype) Beverly Hills Teens -Kid and Play Cartoon (talk about redlining, 5:30 - 6:00 am in the morning to see that thing) -Thundercats -C.O.P.S. (Big Boss did that '30s villian voice that Chappelle jokes about) Batman and X-Men brought a lot of high-schoolers back to watching cartoons G.I. Joe and Transformers lost my attention because they were fully conceived and subsidized by the toy companies and had to screw up continuity and character dynamics to repeatedly make way for new products. But their hand-drawn feature-length films were both more engaging and more emotionally compelling than any of the big-budget crap that they've licensed over the last decade.

God if I was 10 or 15 years younger I would have eaten this up as a kid, immediate payoff. I think I replayed that ninja part five times.
Something about the audio, the way they were drawn or maybe all the pop culture references on the latter made me think those two shows were made twenty years apart.
I'm a little older than you guys but back in my kidom Rocky and Bullwinkle was really sort of subversive. It had Mr. Peabody and Sherman too. Also really liked Daffy Duck as Duck Dodger versus Marvin The Martian.
