Beat me, I was going to post it as well. Corey Brewer would look good in our team, I hope it happens.

Not a huge shock seeing as though they wanted him a couple years ago when he was a free agent.

5 million player option for next season.

I'm assuming that the Rockets would be interested, but wouldn't be willing to give up significant assets to get him. They would need those assets is they had to move him again this July for cap space if they felt they were close to signing someone.

He'd be a good player for the Rockets when they wanted to play fast and furious. Nobody runs the court in the NBA as well as Brewer. He's going to get you at least 6 super easy PPG just on sheer hustle and speed leaking out.

Both Cavs/Rockets have trade exception big enough to absorb Corey Brewer's contract so might only have to surrender draft pick(s) to get him

What does the Rockets having interest have anything to do with D-Mo. They are COMPLETELY different players that satisfy COMPLETELY different needs.

And if you haven't noticed, Jones is going to be out for some time it looks like, and D-Mo is very much needed to not only play the four, but also the five some.

Hope we don't trade Pap and instead trade that scrub D-Mo.

Would love to have him, especially with Papa inconsistency and no real backup SG.

Yes, because trading one of our 3 competent big men seems like a good idea. Our interior play is already bad enough when Dwight isn't on the floor.

Unless Brewer comes really cheap, no thank you. Mediocre defender, and a terrible shooter.

Because of who we already have at the 2 and 3. Harden, Terry, Daniels, Ariza and Pap. We need front court depth more than anything though.

I'd be extremely shocked if we traded either, especially K-Pap.

Yeah honestly, these rumors are weird. We need front court depth.
Unless Brewer can bulk up and play the 4 and dominate the boards, we have no use for him. Unless K-Pap is getting traded, which would be shocking.

I wonder if the Wolves would have any interest in the rights to Llull seeing as though him and Rubio have a ton of continuity playing together.

I assume that Kmart will be shopped this year as well, and having a couple future off guards to pair with Rubio in coming years might be something of interest to stock up on.

Personally, I'd be willing to include the Pelicans pick as the cornerstone for nabbing Brewer.

D and 3 + helps the fast break.

He'd be great at spelling minutes for Harden, and saving Terry's legs so he doesn't have to play back up 1 and 2.

Also, a defensive lineup of Beverley, Brewer, Ariza - being backed up by Dwight Howard... That could cause quite a few problems.

So yeah... that wouldn't make any sense. Unless you really don't realize that Corey Brewer is actually a perimeter player and D-Mo is a big 7 footer PF/C AKA front court player.

I think Brewer would be a great pick. He is pretty much a better offensive version of Ariza

Doesn't he have 2 more years left on contract?
