That home field advantage DFW schools get probably help. Aledo first today, then Cedar Hill, and probably Allen next. I believe the UIL will switch up the championship sites in a couple of years because schools from other metro areas have been complaining.
I strongly believe they need to rotate each year as great the Jerry's place is. It is unfair to make all schools come to DFW.

Katy did not lose because of lack of support in Arlington, that's for sure. After seeing what Katy's sub-varsity teams did this year, I think the long-rumored decline might start soon. It's unbelievable that they've been a part of so many championship games in the last 20 years. 6 wins and at least 5 losses. Starting with my freshman class in 1991, there has not been a class that hasn't seen a state championship game during their four years at Katy.
