A turkey that is. It's my first time doing a turkey on the Big Green Egg. I've done lots of ribs, chickens, etc but not a turkey. I've had it brining all day and I intend on shoving lemons, garlic, onions, rosemary, thyme, and sage in the cavity. Then I'm going to use a Sittin' Turkey filled with white wine and more fresh herbs. I plan on smoking it with apple wood at about 350 degrees for 12 minutes per pound. I find this really fun and look forward to the results! Merry Christmas everyone!
Love my BGE. I butterfly/spatch **** my turkey before smoking on my Egg. Make sure you post pictures so we can see the results.
