http://techcrunch.com/2013/03/28/manufacturers-ramping-up-for-june-2013-iphone-5s-launch/ Looks like the iPhone announcement is back to WWDC again in June. Not really sure what to expect from this one.
Good idea to copy some of the things done by the Lumia 920. It is a great phone, but Windows Phones will likely never be widely accepted. Ho hum. Oh well. Anyway, hope the 5S turns out to be innovative in some way.
They're good phones, but the lack of apps is what's holding Microsoft back. I have a friend that works for MS and they're just buying developers for a buttload of money...whereas Apple doesn't have to do that.
Figures. Just got upgraded to a 5 at work. It's rare when I'm up to par with the current version. Good news is, it correlates perfectly with my wife's 3GS being eligible for upgrade in late June. I'll finally be able to get her a 4S or 5, depending on the price drop.
yup. Major apps are missing like Instragram, Waze..official Facebook app. Plus things like controlling media volume separately from your ringer volume..are still not implemented. I would switch if the functionality was at least on par with android or iOS. There's no reason to switch and lose things you are already used to.
I have a feeling they will drop the 4S and make the 5 the low cost model. My reasoning is the lighting connector. I don't think they want to keep selling products that still have the old dock port.
Apple has lost it with the iPhone. The last truly amazing phone they made was the iPhone 4. 4S, 5 and 5S are nothing to get excited about.
5 is better than the 4 in just about every way, except maybe design if you are a fan of the glass sides.
lumia 920? if you're speaking of an inductive charging phone (wouldn't make sense otherwise), try the palm pre. 2009. another no so widely accepted device. sorry cf. will not webos die on this board.
Just unlocked my iPhone 4S. Barring some great new feature I'll probably just stick with the 4s and move it to a cheaper plan on tmobile
LTE makes a world of a difference...biggest reason to upgrade if you are still on the 4s in my opinion
I have the 5 and I'll probably move to either a Droid or Windows phone when I'm up next. Since I have a tablet (or rather, all three competing types), I just don't do much with my iPhone any more. Even though Google Maps is back, it kind of sucks now and I wish I could have the old version back. And a bigger screen would give me much more utility.
