There's always one thing that sticks out whenever I see Warriors highlights: Moving Screens.

Watch Draymond here basically corral Austin Rivers to free up Curry:

Same game, and here's Ezeli this time:

    <iframe src="https://vine.co/v/eLOFJHpZ0Md/embed/simple" width="600" height="600" frameborder="0"></iframe><script src="https://platform.vine.co/static/scripts/embed.js"></script>

Here at the 35 second mark, Draymond again sets a screen but never plants a foot as he rotates with Steph's defender...

    <iframe width="560" height="315" src="https://www.youtube.com/embed/p-SSZyA_w9o" frameborder="0" allowfullscreen></iframe>

I could post more examples but you see my point. The Warriors are willingly breaking the rules to the point where it's become the norm and the officials just won't call it. They have their own rules now. Consider the fact the the Warriors offensive possessions will always contain more than once screen it adds a level of difficulty for any defense to have to deal with.

Then of course you've got Bogut's own bag of tricks here at 1.04...

If anyone has more examples please post. Nothing will change officiating wise, but public opinion can.

There's two reasons why they get the benefit of the doubt on these...

    1) The Warriors are the most loved team in the league. The media is obsessed with Steph Curry. They're not going to call ticky-tack fouls on the Warriors for things like moving screens if it takes away from the entertainment.

    2) They get away with this because they do it so often. They basically bet on the refs not calling each and every moving screen, and they're correct.

Warriors have perfected the 'screen and then walk backwards with hands up' move.

This team is coached to play dirty. Just like the Sloan era Jazz.

Everyone knows Warriors set illegal screens all the time. The league chooses to ignore them.

In case, someone is wondering the definition of moving screen.

Yao Ming never could have gotten away with those.

I wish Les Alexander had guts like Mark Cuban does. If the Warriors were playing the Mavs in the Playoffs, Cuban would have sent a video tape to the league office and eat a 250,000 find for publicly decrying the refs.

Honestly I'm surprised teams have not complained about this.

It's a BIG reason their offense looks as smooth as it does. There is no exaggeration here, they set A TON of moving picks and screens.

It's like Draymond Greens technicals that never get called.

The moving screens they set are the staple of their offence to free up their shooters. It gives me memories of the Karla Malone and Stockton Jazz of obvious cheating and no one calling them on it.
If Howard would set screens like that he would foul out in the first quarter.

Are they able to call every hard foul? Put them on their asses. They can't call it all.

Man, we can hate all we want, its not gonna stop them from doing and its not going to make the refs start calling them consistently. I wish half of our bigs would do the same thing instead of those weak ass flash screens they do. You know, the ones where they half plant and start rolling to the basket pre-maturely in hopes of a lob that doesnt end up working.

They are well coached, sleazy or not, they execute. If youre not cheating, youre not trying.

It really is a ridiculous advantage.

I am so tired of Draymond Greens set a screen, oops I lost my balance and fell on the opposing player, aka I tackled him.

this is why i hate the warriors with a passion... draymon yells and screams like an madman and never gets t'd up... bogut and ezeli set illegal screens and they never get called for it

I think NBA wants Curry to be the Michael Jordan of their league and are willingly allowing and bending the rules for the success of their team.. the league wants them to come close to the 72-10 record

I refuse to believe that teams have not complained about this, at least behind the scenes. There must be some execs that have sent tapes to the league office because it's so obvious that dubs set moving screens.

I think the league/refs definitely know about it but the Warriors offense is just so watchable that they're not gonna do anything to ruin those precious ratings. It is why the league exists, after all.

why wont the league do something about what the OP is talking about... no way Dwight would get away with that, but freaking Bogut can... oh i get it its because you letting a slow footed athlete like Curry who cant blow past an athletic defender in a no hand-check era and is basically just a 3-point specialist with decent handles.. because he makes the league money,... whatever
