True - need to limit it to 50% or less. Otherwise, other teams will stop hacking us and we might become a more watchable team.

Just get us a damn center who can rebound and at least shoot 10 feet around the rim.

It is all about match ups and line ups.

Boban would probably play 20 minutes a game with the Rockets, and be very effective in those 20 minutes.

The problem with him, is that the Rockets would have to have a center with another type of skill set that can play 25-30 minutes a night.

Not sure what the issue with Boban is, you can give him the poison pill contract and basically pay him 8M a year...which is market value for a defensive center. We need different players to play different lineups, you can't just play 1 style all the time and in fact one reason Cavs has been beating GSW is they played half court ball and didn't buy into the small ball shenanigans GSW was doing after Bogut got hurt. Boban would be nice off the bench when Harden sits, you really want to slow the game down then to give Harden more time to rest and keep the game close.

With both Boban and Capela you already have your frontline, Capela is quick enough to guard even Steph Curry so having him as your small ball C shouldn't be a problem.

Houston + Physical Specimen Center = Hack w/ No Whistles

Time to get an undersized center with energy to pair with Capela. Athleticism works better in the playoffs. Hence his drop in stats during the playoffs. Plus, why do we need a center that plays 9 minutes per game during the regular season and then 6 in the playoffs? What a waste of an article!

When does Dwight have to exercise his option?
When is the last day he can do it. . . .

Great post. Mejri and Boban both played well last year and are legit defensive centers in the league for the next few years.

Sometimes you need to take a step backward in order to get back onto the right direction. I hope the Rockets drop Howard.

You'd think he would've done it by now. What's the upside of waiting?

There's no problem with Boban - it's OK to have a bench rotation that plays more Grizz style basketball to slow the game down, and it gives you a different look if your run and gun offense is failing.

I guess his agent likes to work for free.

could both sides agree to an amicable sign and trade? You could really get creative in situations like those, include a third team.

Boban would be a great addition. I think the Spurs match a poison pill deal though.
