Phil Jackson stated that hes gonna rebuild the Knicks by free agency. Do you think he will achieve that or no?

Maybe; we don't know what they are doing with their top pick either:

    Doubt it.

Likely overpay for mediocre players. Max contracts for Monroe, Mathews and Middleton.

I think Greg Monroe and Tobias Harris are likely candidates.

Agree 100%. These are the two I see them getting. Add a top 3 draft pick. Not a bad start.

They don't have a lot of cap space and their team is terrible. So no.

A minimum of 25 million bucks for cap space isn't bad. I actually thought they'd have more.

I'd like them to steal top free agents from the WC like Gasol or Aldridge, but it seems wishful thinking.

They're just gonna be the same old mediocre Knicks with overpaid talent.

Sounds like they're gonna land Greg Monroe with the max, which is a tremendous way to land yourself in mediocrity.

I know he's been linked to Detroit because of his roots but Draymond Green would fit like a glove in MSG

If he did keep the pick, I bet Jackson uses it to reach on a player who has no business going 5th, but would "be great in a triangle offense"

Green fits with every team, he is a swiss army knife of a player. Wish we had him.

I have this feeling that if the Knicks or Lakers get the 1st pick they'll move it to Sacramento for Boogie.

If those are the options, then no. Landing Aldridge seems like a longshot. None of the others guys would really move the needle much.

Sure they can probably land a free agent, but is that free agent gonna be the big difference maker or are they just gonna end up with another Melo or Amare?
