Exactly. He drove the lane to dunk but they collapsed on him and he passed it off. That is good decision making. He doesn't try to do what he can not. He recognizes his limitations and uses his strengths. It's very exciting when he's on the court.
If he becomes Brandan Wright, that would be great, but they are pretty different players at this point and not sure that is a comparison that makes a whole lot of sense, considering Wright's positive impact comes solely at the offensive end.
For his career Wright averages over 2 blocks per 36. He's no defensive star, but he does make an impact as a shot blocker. This year with the Mavs he was averaging 3 blocks per 36.
So, has Capela officially played more minutes in the playoffs as he did in the regular season, yet? Goodness, he's played well. And it's just inevitable that he's going to get at least one nasty-ass dunk in this series. You know you're waiting for it.
Yeah, my body is ready. He's had two that he missed. One was a horrible miss that looked like a missed dunk from NBA jam, and one he just blocked himself on the rim. He's going to throw down a big nasty one though. I can feel it. It's gonna be so nasty that all the toilet paper in Dallas won't clean that up!
