Looks like someone in Dwight's camp is trying to scare Houston off so they can pursue the Nets angle.

Hilarious that someone dropped that. Morey gives no ****s. He's willing to do it anyway. Nothing would scare him...

You know this is coming from the howard camp......what else do you expect them to say? Everyone and their mom knows where he prefers to go but at this point he doesn't have a choice. Once he comes to houston and settles in i think there is a very good chance he actually stays. Yes I said it. Howard in Houston is possible.

I wanted Dwight before the back issues even as a rental, not now. I have had two back surgeries and I can promise you he will never be the same.

It shows their hand -- they're nervous he could get dealt to Houston, trying to scare them off.

Starting to think the <a href="http://rockets.clutchfans.net/2668/dwight-howard-houston-rockets/">"Dwight may have opted in to block the Houston trade"</a> theory is correct. To me this calculated leak means two things:

    1. They want the full raises/years.
    2. They don't want to be in Houston.

"There's very little chance Dwight Howard will be back in Orlando after the 2011-12 season."

"Dwight wants to go to LA."

"Dwight says he doesn't want to go to LA."

"Sources say there's no chance Dwight Howard will be on the Magic after the trade deadline."

"Source says Dwight Howard is opting in to stay in Orlando."

"Orlando says Dwight hasn't even hinted that he wanted to opt in, continue to look for trades."

"Dwight signs away his player option for next season to Orlando, regrets putting Orlando in that position."

I think it's safe to say nobody knows what Dwight Howard wants... Dwight doesn't even know what he wants.

I don't think this stops Morey from pursuing Dwight in any way. I mean how can you say theres a 0% chance your going to resign before you even play there?

Screw Howard. Let's build throught the draft. If he was so great he would be carrying his team to the finals every year.

Who cares... He'll be a Rocket either way. If it doesnt work, he'll be an asset to be traded later to Brooklyn by the trade deadline. Either way the Rox win
