Good. Ask for the world and see what you get.

BTW - is Sportando a good source?

So that's what they mean when they said Morey is setting the market high for O.

Rockets are in a position of strength right now. Two first-rounders seem unrealistic, but you gotta start high so you can bargain down.

I don't think two first round picks is unrealistic at all. Do your thing Maury.

By the way not a fan of the 1rd picks. I thought our goal was to contend for a championship this year?

Trading Asik for a 1rd pick will not help us win a championship this year.

The original source is Alan Hahn, some Knicks reporter guy. Dunno if he is reliable.

1st round picks are highly flippable. See Harden trade.

Asik's luxury tax cap hit is $8.3 million. Gotta wonder about that source.

Two unprotected first-rounders seem unrealistic, yes.

Two 1st rounders in the late 20's with top 10 protection would seem too little compensation IMO.

Depends on protection and at what slot they fall in to what is realistic or fair here.

Two first round picks are not worth it unless they are high draft picks, like the Utah Jazz, Orlando Magic, or Milwaukee Bucks picks.

based on the fact that it cites asiks (and Lins) 'luxtury tax' cost at 15M (when their cap cost is 8.3 or whatever...) - 15M is the cost but has no corelation to the luxury tax.... therfor, I give this article no credence...

We got three first-round picks for a slightly over-the-hill Kevin Willis back in the day. Most first-rounders don't even pan out. This is not an outrageous asking price. I don't even know if I want it.

2 first round picks seems plenty fair, depending on how high the picks are.

Yep, I knew he was going for picks and not other assets.
